The annual College of Southern Nevada Juried Student Exhibition runs May 16 through July 5, with painting, sculpture, printmaking, metals, ceramics, jewelry, and design. There will be a reception with refreshments, an awards ceremony, a gallery talk, and the Salon de Refusés on May 16, from 6 to 8 p.m

The Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade is Southern Nevada’s largest and most colorful Fourth of July parade. This year will be the 31st. The parade will have about 70 entries, including a 50-foot American Eagle, 40-foot Grand Old Flag, more than 20 giant inflatable balloons, veteran's and military organizations, patriotic and pop culture-themed floats, and performing groups.
With: representatives of the Vegas Golden Knights, Las Vegas Raiders, Athletics, Las Vegas Aviators, Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Las Vegas Aces’ High Rollers dance team, and UNLV athletics.

"A Tribute to the American Spirit" is a 4th of July celebration of American music, from Berlin to Bernstein. Also, some barbecue favorites for lunch. And, fireworks? A family-friendly event.
It’s America’s Party! Grab your red, white, and blue and take your family and friends out for an evening full of family-friendly fun and live entertainment. The celebration kicks off with live entertainment, including a performance by country artist Tony Jackson. Then, the grand finale—a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky starting at 9:00.

Nevada State University’s Scorpion STEAM Academy week-long sessions invite young learners to immerse themselves in a dynamic educational experience blending science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Designed for students entering third through eighth grade, the STEAM Academy offers week-long sessions that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Students participate in hands-on activities that fuse science, technology, and the arts, empowering them to explore, create, and innovate in courses in a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
Each session runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 2 through July 25, with flexible options available for “Before-School” and “After-School” programming. The STEAM Academy’s diverse curriculum is tailored to different age groups, ensuring that students build new skills, make friends, and have fun while preparing for future academic success.

Indulge in an evening of enchantment, glamour, and sizzling entertainment as "A Night Of..." makes its way to the Las Vegas Arts District. Prepare to be captivated by a burlesque and variety show that promises a celebration of artistry and allure. Resident stars Mollie de Menthe, Victoria Jade, and Adelia Adelaide will be joined by fresh acts each month.
General Admission and VIP seating available. It's the second Thursday of every month.
