The Pahrump Chili Cook-off Festival started providing family 13 years ago, and that continues this year with a carnival, live music, a car show, a kids drag races, adult and kid challenges, and of course, chili tasting!
The chili tasting will be held between 10 am and 4 pm Saturday and Sunday, with the carnival 4 pm to 11 pm on the 21st, 10 am to 11 pm on the 22nd, and 11 am to 5 pm on the 23rd. Free admission, but you pay for carnival things and chili.

Join the nonprofit group as they celebrate the volunteers who have worked for four decades to protect beautiful Red Rock Canyon. The event will be held outdoors at the park's Reserve, with food, drinks, and entertainment by the Nevada Old Time Fiddlers Association.
A historical video recap will be presented with comments from BLM Nevada State Director Jon Raby.

The annual Chamber Chorale Spring Showcase features a variety of songs the students have chosen to showcase. Ticket proceeds will go to the Choir Club. The performance will be in the Jay Morrison Recital Hall, which is room 122 in the H building.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office starting at 6:00.

The Friendship Circle Las Vegas pairs teenage and young adult volunteers with physically and intellectually challenged children, teens, and young adults who could use a new friend. This event will raise funds for their programs and raise awareness to help create a more inclusive community for individuals with disabilities.
There will be a 1-mile fun walk at 11 a.m., The free community carnival, starting at noon, will include celebrity guest appearances, zip line, trackless train, mind winder ride, mechanical bull, rock climbing wall, air jumpers, video game truck, and petting zoo. This year, the carnival will also feature a DJ, a bar, and toddler zone.
The walk and carnival are free and open to the public, although donations are encouraged. Corporate sponsorships are welcomed.
Performing will be members of the CSN Orchestra and guests. Proceeds will go to the Dick McGee Scholarship Fund. The recital will be in the Jay Morrison Recital Hall, which is room 122 in the H building.

The Dr. Shirley Linzy Young Artists Orchestra of Las Vegas celebrates its 10th Anniversary by performing "Aheym,” an electrifying piece by Bryce Dessner (of the band the National), George Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue” performed on its 101th anniversary with acclaimed Canadian pianist Lucas Porter, and Tchaikovsky’s powerful Symphony No. 4. Also performing: Cuban-American singer Noybel Gorgoy, The Groove Culture Band, and Mariachi Internacional from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
After the concert, dinner and a reception. YAO is the only tuition-free youth orchestra program in Nevada and one of the few tuition-free youth orchestras in the U.S.

Join Collaboration Center for a premier epicurean evening under the stars and learn about their disability resource network for individuals and families touched by intellectual, developmental, physical or learning Disabilities. Proceeds will directly support the Collaboration Center’s facility and Pathways programming.

Powered by wish families, volunteers, and supporters, Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish fundraiser celebrating thousands of wishes that have already been granted while raising funds for future wishes. This year’s event hopes to raise $500,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for more than 250 children in Nevada who are waiting for their wishes to come true.
The dog-friendly walk will feature the popular Touch-A-Truck area, a petting zoo, face painting, games, food trucks, photo opportunities with characters from favorite children’s movies....and much more. Participants can sign up to walk, donate to a walker, or organize a team.
