The Dr. Shirley Linzy Young Artists Orchestra of Las Vegas celebrates its 10th Anniversary by performing "Aheym,” an electrifying piece by Bryce Dessner (of the band the National), George Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue” performed on its 101th anniversary with acclaimed Canadian pianist Lucas Porter, and Tchaikovsky’s powerful Symphony No. 4. Also performing: Cuban-American singer Noybel Gorgoy, The Groove Culture Band, and Mariachi Internacional from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
After the concert, dinner and a reception. YAO is the only tuition-free youth orchestra program in Nevada and one of the few tuition-free youth orchestras in the U.S.

Join Collaboration Center for a premier epicurean evening under the stars and learn about their disability resource network for individuals and families touched by intellectual, developmental, physical or learning Disabilities. Proceeds will directly support the Collaboration Center’s facility and Pathways programming.

Powered by wish families, volunteers, and supporters, Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish fundraiser celebrating thousands of wishes that have already been granted while raising funds for future wishes. This year’s event hopes to raise $500,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for more than 250 children in Nevada who are waiting for their wishes to come true.
The dog-friendly walk will feature the popular Touch-A-Truck area, a petting zoo, face painting, games, food trucks, photo opportunities with characters from favorite children’s movies....and much more. Participants can sign up to walk, donate to a walker, or organize a team.
Take your dancing shoes and groove to classic yacht rock tunes from a live band. Enjoy a meow-mosa or other cocktail and hit the best brunch buffet on the high seas! Also, live and silent auctions. Don your captain’s hat and Hawaiian shirts…because nautical attire is highly encouraged!

It's AFAN's 35th annual AIDS Walk Las Vegas, with proceeds supporting their client support service programs, including case management, nutrition counseling, transportation assistance, and HIV testing. The event kicks off at 9 a.m. with a resource fair featuring community partners, sponsors booths, and photo ops. The walk is at 10.
For the 24th consecutive year, entertainers Penn & Teller return as grand marshals, joining walkers to raise funds and awareness for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada. Dogs are welcome but you will need to complete a waiver through their website. Go to Get Tickets for more.

The four-day festival features over 30 immersive experiences and special events led by local historian, including guided tours, educational seminars, community events, scenic drives, cocktail parties, and speaker presentations. They will transport you to the Vegas of yesteryear while offering unique insights into its architectural transformation – from a small railroad town to a growing, modern city.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Home + History Las Vegas is the valley’s largest annual heritage festival.
