The Guide is a community-submitted cultural calendar which lists events of interest to the local Southern Nevada community. The events submitted here may appear in Desert Companion publications or KNPR broadcasts at the editors’ discretion.
Please follow the submission guidelines below:
- Please make sure your event is local, culturally oriented, and intended for a public audience. If not, this isn’t the right place for it.
- Submit your event a minimum of 5 business days before it occurs.
- Fill out all fields in the form, include a high-quality image or logo, and be mindful when selecting categories for the event.
- Please keep your event description concise; you may provide a link to more details.
- If you have multiple events to submit, complete a separate entry for each one (do not list all of them in the body of one entry).
- Proofread your submission. Event listings that require significant editing will not be considered for inclusion in The Guide.
We reserve the right to reject events that do not meet our submission guidelines, modify image sizes, and edit description copy, to ensure that all information fits The Guide’s style and format. If you have any questions, please send them to theguide@desertcompanion.com.
