Lee Canyon's second annual Fall Fest marks the finale of the resort’s Music on the Mountain free outdoor concert series. Performing will be Jonny Hazard and The Wedge Brothers. You can enjoy a beer garden featuring local breweries, food trucks, and family-friendly games and outdoor activities.
Fall Fest is free to attend, and all ages are welcome. Parking is also free. You are encouraged to arrive early. Gates open at 9 a.m. and music starts at 11 a.m. and does through through 5 p.m.

Legacy Christian Academy's first race fundraiser will include a 5K, a 10K, and a Family Fun Run. Plus : the 0.0 None Run where you relax in your lawn chair to win! The goal is to build community while raising funds to seed our future facility project. Get ready to enjoy a beautiful, and fully supported race course in and around the Empire Ranch Golf Course in Carson City.
Registered racers get a swag bag full of goodies, a race t-shirt, precision timing, finish line photos, on-course aid stations and a fun-filled finish line festival.

One Drop Foundation, the international non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring sustainable access to safe water for all, is thrilled to announce the return of Walk for Water, taking place at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 18. In its illustrious ninth edition, 2025 will mark the anticipated return of the annual event since its inception in 2013, uniting the Las Vegas community for its vital cause.
Walk for Water invites participants of all ages to walk for a cause, raising awareness and funds to support local water education and conservation as well as global water access. The family-friendly affair will kick off at 8 a.m. at Springs Preserve. Registration for Walk for Water is now open. To participate in this year’s event, please visit HERE. All net proceeds from the event will directly benefit One Drop’s mission of ensuring sustainable access to safe water for all and water conservation and education efforts in Nevada.
The Las Vegas Book Festival returns to downtown Las Vegas, with panel discussions, book signings, readings, workshops, poetry, exhibitions, and special events for all ages. Included: the Spark! Youth Poetry Competition, former U.S. Senator Richard Bryan and former Nevada Governor Bob Miller (who have both written books) in conversation with historian Geoff Schumacher, and all the authors of Disney’s "Meant To Be" series.
