Henderson Shines is an annual no-cost community cleanup and recycling day that allows residents to dispose of household hazardous materials like paint, oil and batteries and to recycle and/or donate other household goods responsibly.
Last year residents helped collect over 60 cubic-yards of paint, 30 cubic-yards of oil and 1,000 pounds of e-waste; all of which were properly disposed. The event also helped recycle 2,100 gallons of documents for shredding and over 3,100 pounds of donated household goods.
Please note the event will end promptly at 1 pm or as long as capacity permits. Plan to arrive early! Find all the details at "Get Tickets."
