Join the City of Henderson and community partners for this annual Memorial Day tradition. This special ceremony honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation. Over 500 flags will be on display at Cornerstone Park throughout Memorial Day weekend as a symbol of patriotism, pride and reverence.

The family-friendly sky lantern festival gives guests the opportunity to illuminate the desert sky with biodegradable lanterns to honor a loved one, celebrate a special moment, simply enjoy a breathtaking visual experience with family and friends, or capture mesmerizing social media content. Tickets usually go fast.

Festivities begin several hours before sunset, with the signature lantern launch scheduled to take place at nightfall. Before that, a dance party with live music and food trucks.

It’s America’s Party! Grab your red, white, and blue and bring your family and friends out for an evening full of family-friendly fun and live entertainment. Cost: FREE!

The celebration kicks off at 6pm with live entertainment, including a performance by country artist Tony Jackson. Then, get ready for the grand finale—a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky starting at 9pm.
