Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and Clark County Commission Chairman, Rory Reid announced a joint plan between the city and county to closely integrate their fire departments. The plan aims to eliminate redundant services at the city and county. Among those services are: hazardous materials teams, heavy rescue teams and maintenance.
