Colors plucked from light are vibrantly alive and will shift and change as the filters rotate or as the viewer moves about, making the perception of the art an active component of the work.

The East Fremont Festival of Arts is back! The festival will transform East Fremont into a family-friendly block party featuring local artists, music stages, food, and creative programming designed to bring the community together in one of Downtown’s historic corridors.
Master storyteller José Rivera was inspired to write Six Children’s Plays for Adults by his young daughter. She asked if we have giants in our fairy tales, do giants have people in theirs? These metaphorical and poetic fairy tales for adults brim with magical realism, overflow with imagination, and radiate with contemporary relevance making for a soulful evening of theatre.
The inaugural season of RDA Performs closes with a special “Desert Sounds: Rain Spell” concert on a journey through the desert with the stunning music of Arvo Pärt, Toru Takemitsu, Astor Piazzolla, and others. A special guest narrator will join principal musicians of the Las Vegas Philharmonic.
RDA Performs is the signature concert series of the Rita Deanin Abbey Art Museum, led by Artistic Director Alexandria Le. Featuring musicians from the Las Vegas Philharmonic, the UNLV Early Music Ensemble, and Broadway stages, the series offers intimate, thoughtfully curated concerts experienced up close, surrounded by the extraordinary work of Rita Deanin Abbey. With just 75 seats per performance, advance reservations are required.

Pickleball teams will compete for prizes and bragging rights, and there's a raffle. Whether you’re playing on the court or cheering from the sidelines, this event promises fun, friendly competition, and a meaningful way to support families in our community. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit S.A.F.E. House and help provide safety, shelter, and supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and their children.
The UNLV Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the orchestra's artistic director Taras Krysa, performs music from Wagner's The Ring of the Nibelung.
