It’s been a mild summer for Nevada. So, what does that mean for our fall gardens? Is now the time to start considering pruning, fertilizing, or planting for the fall?

It probably doesn't feel like it yet, but next week’s forecast might see temperatures start to dip below triple digits in Southern Nevada. For Northern Nevada, highs could top out in the mid-80s.

It’s the first sign that Nevada’s often brutal summers are starting to break.

It also means it’s time to start thinking about planting again, both for the dinner table and just because it’s fun or relaxing—or whatever it is you get out of digging in the dirt.
