The Clark County Commission has until the end of August to decide how to spend $440 million in federal funds sent to the county under President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan.
The money is going to support those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, including renters, small businesses and low-wage workers.
Commissioners have until Aug. 31 to develop a plan on how the county intends to allocate the money over the next three years.
