After tallying arrests over one of Las Vegas’ busiest holiday weekends, police say only 11 misdemeanor arrests were made out of the more than 330,000 visitors came to the city to celebrate.

There was a heavy police presence assembled just months after the October 1 mass shooting.

No Hitches During LV New Year's Celebrations

The New Year arrived in Las Vegas without any hitches.

The Las Vegas Sun estimated the crowds along the Strip and Fremont Street as close to a third of a million in size. 

There were roughly a thousand uniformed police along the Strip and another four hundred patrolling downtown.
