German Tourist Killed In Bus Accident Identified

Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a 34-year-old German killed in a fiery tour bus crash that police and prosecutors say was caused by a drunk driver.

The Clark County coroner on Thursday reported that Rolf Kloeppel of Meckenbeuren, Germany, died in the Sept. 5 wreck at a downtown intersection.

Tour driver Jose Francisco Cosenza of Las Vegas was also killed.

Kloeppel's wife, Stefanie Kloeppel, and Brian Zerbee and Sara Zerbee from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Jonathan Donner of Las Vegas has been hospitalized since the crash.

He faces a Monday court date on felony driving under the influence charges that could get him decades in prison.

Prosecutors say tests show the 25-year-old Donner was 2.5 times over the legal limit for alcohol when he crashed.
