Two Inmates From Northern Nevada Correctional Center Die

The Nevada Department of Corrections is reporting the deaths of two prison inmates that took place over the past week.

Reynoldo Duquesne died on Wednesday at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City at age 67.

He had been sentenced in Las Vegas to 8-to-20 years in prison on attempted murder charges.

The Department of Corrections says it has been unable to find any next of kin for Duquesne.

A second inmate, Robert Gonzales, died yesterday at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical center at age 78.

He was transferred to the hospital from his incarceration at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center, and was serving 12 years to life on a 1986 conviction for murder.
