Water and what water means to our home in the desert is the underlying theme for this set of performances. There will be a circus artist, a filmmaker and soundscape creator, the Nuwu Wonumeegah dancers, Clark County Poets Laureate past and present, and special guest Joshua Roman – cellist, composer, and Musician-in-Residence at the Las Vegas Philharmonic.
Tickets are free but registration is requested.

Broadway in the Hood’s de facto spring showcase isn’t just honoring Black entertainment legends and highlighting Broadway chestnuts. It is also a fundraiser for the announced Legacy Theatre, slated to be the future home for Broadway in the Hood and the first Black-owned and operated theater/education complex in Las Vegas.
The star-studded cast of actors, singers, dancers, and musicians will include Earl Turner, Merald “Bubba” Knight, Cllint Holmes, Genevieve Dew and Skye Dee Miles.

The Schellraiser micro-music festival returns to the McGill Pool Park (near Ely). The 2024 lineup features Ladytron, Mercury Rev, We Are Scientists, The Raveonettes, Man Man among more than two dozen alternative and indy bands, new and old. Most seem to be from the West, but Montreal is also represented.
McGill is about 255 miles north of Las Vegas. You will want to check out the McGill Drugstore Museum if you're in the area.
