Shanda & The Howlers is a 60s-style rhythm & blues revivalist band out of Las Vegas. The group of five musicians solidified their line up in early 2015 and began writing songs immediately before performing their first show in the spring on that year. Influences in their sound can be traced to such artists as Big Maybelle, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding, The Crystals, The Marvelettes, Gino Parks, LaVern Baker, and James Brown.
