Three MGM Properties To Return To 24/7 Operation

MGM Resorts International has announced plans to resume 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operations at three of its Las Vegas resorts, beginning March 3. 

Mandalay Bay, Park MGM and the Mirage have been operating with mid-week closures due to decreased visitor numbers.

Mandalay Bay, Mirage Closed Mid-Week

The hotel towers at Mandalay Bay and The Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip will be closed Mondays through Thursdays starting November 30.

The hotels will most likely revert to regular hours in January.

The plan is to close at noon on Monday and reopen at noon on Thursday.

Judge Approves $800M Las Vegas Shooting Settlement

MGM Resorts Selling MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay For About $2.5B

MGM Resorts International is selling the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay resorts and casinos on the Las Vegas Strip to a joint venture for about $2.5 billion.
 
The joint venture includes private-equity and real estate company Blackstone Group and MGM Growth Properties LLC.

The resort announced it is renumbering the floors from 31 through 34 to 56 through 59. The floor numbers will be changed by the end of the week.

A vice president at MGM said that several hundred employees are affected out of the 7,400 who work at Mandalay Bay.

Mandalay Bay Doesn't Plan To Rent Out 32nd Floor Of Hotel

MGM Resorts International said today it has no plans to rent the 32nd-floor Mandalay Bay suite from where a gunman shot and killed 58 people.

MGM did not say what it planned to do with the suite, nor plans for the festival grounds across the street where the music festival was held.
