    Clark County Approves $3 Million In Marijuana Taxes For Youth Services

    The Clark County Commission approved using almost $3 million in marijuana business license fees to help youth and at-risk children.

    The commission said in a tweet that the money will go to support the Joint Transitional Housing & Rehousing Program for Youth.

    On Monday, Clark County commissioners certified the results of the general election, except for the District C County Commission race.

    Democrat Ross Miller won by 10 votes but the election department reported 139 ballot discrepancies, triggering a special election.

    Democrat Ross Miller has been declared the winner in the District C seat of the Clark County Commission, but only by a total of ten votes out of more than 153,000 cast. 

    Miller told the Nevada Independent that he had expected a very tight race against Republican Stavros Anthony.
