Las Vegas Police: Road Rage Suspected In Fatal Freeway Shooting

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say they think road rage may have led to a fatal freeway shooting.

 

Police say a woman who was a passenger in the Chrysler 300 driven by the victim said shots Monday evening were fired after a white van tailgated the car and then pulled alongside on northbound Interstate 15.

Police Lt. Ray Spencer say the fatal shots pierced the car's driver-side door and that there may have been two people in the van.

 

He said the victim, a man in his 50s, and the passenger were visiting Las Vegas from California.

Police said they want to hear from potential witnesses to the incident that occurred Blue Diamond Road and Silverado Ranch Boulevard between and also want to see any relevant video.
