U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao announced the federal government’s intent to award $50 million in grant funding to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The money will help reconstruct the Tropicana Avenue and I-15 interchange with a longer and wider overpass over I-15, and add a high-occupancy-vehicle ramp at Harmon Avenue, approximately a half-mile to the north.
This funding comes as part of the $906 million nationwide Infrastructure for Rebuilding America discretionary grant program.
