Woman Killed In Possible Road Rage Shooting On Las Vegas Freeway

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a woman found dead after a crash on a busy freeway in Las Vegas overnight may have been killed in a road rage shooting.

The incident closed Interstate 15 near the Las Vegas Strip for at least eight hours Wednesday, snarling the morning commute. Lt. Ray Spencer says the shooting happened shortly after midnight while the woman was driving home from work at a downtown Las Vegas casino.

Her name wasn't immediately made public. Spencer asked for witnesses who saw her blue Nissan Versa before it veered across the freeway and crashed into a Dodge Charger about 12:20 a.m.
