Kicking off the last week of the Nevada legislative session, Governor Brian Sandoval has vetoed four more bills.
The Nevada Independent reports the governor rejected Assembly Bill 350, which would have required union orientation meetings for all new state hires.
Sandoval also turned down Senate Bill 374, which would have legalized marijuana massages; Assembly Bill 427, which would have relaxed requirements for ex-felons to receive food stamps and welfare assistance, and Senate Bill 434, which would have given the city councils of Reno and Sparks the authority to appoint city attorneys. The governor has vetoed 15 bills this session and signed 26 this week.
