NV Energy Consumers See Lower Rates

NV Energy ratepayers in Southern Nevada will see lower monthly bills.

The Las Vegas Sun reports customers will see a roughly five percent drop in their power bills, marking the third such decrease since July.

NV Energy says the rate decreases are due to decreased production costs.

Rooftop solar consumers, though, will see an increase in their rates, though, based on a change in rates approved by the state's Public Utilities Commission.
