With the second Democratic presidential debate coming tomorrow, a majority of Nevada's "superdelegates" have yet to endorse a candidate.
Superdelegates are party insiders or elected Democratic officials who, along with caucusgoers and primary voters across the country, will help decide which candidate receives the Democratic nomination for the presidency.
Of Nevada's eight superdelegates, five are undecided.
The other three – Congresswoman Dina Titus, state Senator Ruben Kihuen, and consultant Andres Ramirez – are backing Hillary Clinton.
It's a similar story in Utah, where two of that state's superdelegates are undecided. The other two are backing Clinton.
Nationally, the Associated Press found just over 50 percent of superdelegates have already announced they're supporting Clinton.
