Bentley wins House GOP race, will face Titus

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Joyce Bentley won a four-way GOP primary for Nevada's 1st Congressional District on Tuesday.,

Results released from last week's primary election show Bentley defeated Citlaly Larios-Elias, Josh Elliott and Eddie Hamilton.

Bentley will face Democratic congresswoman Dina Titus in November's general election. It's a rematch from 2018, when Titus beat Bentley by 35 percentage points.

Titus is heavily favored in the race again this year. Democrats hold a robust voter registration advantage in the district over Republicans, and Titus is a popular incumbent who has held the seat since 2012.
