Tarkanian Middle School Students Arrested For Making Threats

Two 13-year-old female students at Tarkanian Middle School were arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with making threats using social media.

Clark County School District Police Sgt. Bryan Zink said the students are charged with making terroristic threats, making threats to pupils and causing a disturbance to a school, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

The threats were made through Instagram around 2 a.m. Monday and were reported to authorities by members of the public using the SafeVoice Nevada system.
