RENO, Nev. (AP) — Officials say a problem with the telephone system at a Veteran Affairs hospital in North Las Vegas has been fixed.
VA spokesman Chuck Ramey says people trying to call the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System had been getting a busy signal on Monday. He says the agency's phone service provider sent technicians to the hospital and the problem was resolved by 2 p.m.
Ramey apologized on behalf of the VA for any inconvenience the technical issues may have caused veterans.
