Trojan Women, by Euripides, is set in the aftermath of the fall of Troy and follows the fates of the city’s women as they await their grim futures at the hands of the victorious Greek army. Through grief, rage, and resilience, the women bear witness to the horrors of war, lamenting their lost home while grappling with an uncertain future.
The text for this production has been adapted by director and Fine Arts Program professor Dustin K. Shaffer.
Hansol Jung’s play focuses on identity, love, and parenting in a funny, unruly, and provocative theatrical experience. With a wolf and a puppet, the play asks us to consider “What makes a family?”. It's the Nevada premier of the winner! of the 2023 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play.

“The Comedy of Errors” is the hilarious story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth. Years later comes a series of wild and ridiculous mishaps based on mistaken identities, including, love at first sight, accusations of theft and demonic possession!
The Nevada Shakespeare Festival's 75-minute adaptation has six actors playing multiple parts, with many quick changes; puppets; masks; and dance. This is a great starter piece for those who are new to Shakespeare, whether young and old, but also promises to offer die-hard Shakespeare fans a fresh look at a classic tale.
