As the nation focuses on the race for president, many are looking to Nevada as the key to controlling or losing power in Congress.

Democrats hold a functional 51 to 49 majority in the U.S. Senate, but Republicans need to only take one or two seats to retake control of the chamber.

The race that Republicans hope to flip is for focus the U.S. Senate seat now held by Nevada Senator Jacky Rosen. Her Republican challenger is Sam Brown, a retired Army captain.
