Do you ever wish the world of politics was a little more boring, or maybe just stable?

Not dictator-stable. But having politicians who don’t threaten opponents, who won’t praise tyrants and are humble — at least not praising themselves as the greatest…at everything? Just someone who does the job, and doesn’t demand allegiance and loyalty by ordinary Americans.

Do you think we have that kind of choice in the presidential election?

Going further: Do you think former President Donald Trump was humbled after being shot at? Do you think Vice President Kamala Harris has what it takes to be president?

At a more local level, do you want Democrats to have supermajorities in the Nevada Assembly and Senate, giving them the ability to overturn vetoes by the governor? Or does the government work better when opposing sides are forced to compromise? Or maybe you don’t like compromise?

In other words: Just how are you going to vote?
