We all know Nevada schools, especially in Las Vegas, do poorly in national rankings. But billions in federal COVID-19 relief money has been poured into schools — do you think they’re doing any better?

School in Clark County starts Monday.

It’ll be without embattled Superintendent Jesus Jara. It’ll be a year with a ban on cell phones in the classroom. And there will be questions about violence after the beating death of a high schooler last school year.

So what do you expect? More of the same? Changes? If you’re a parent, teacher or student, are you ready?
