Live from Three Square: The role of arts and culture nonprofits in Las Vegas

From L to R: Bernard Gaddis, Arturo Ochoa and Bobbie Ann Howell with State of Nevada host Joe Schoenmann at Three Square on Sept. 8, 2023.

In Southern Nevada, nonprofits provide services that can literally save lives. Food banks, like the one we’re broadcasting from this week, medical care, rehab clinics and so much more.

Other nonprofits might not save lives, but they do enrich them through music, language, culture and the written word.

We’ll be talking to three such organizations during the final day of our week devoted to nonprofits. And again, we’re broadcasting from one the largest nonprofits in Nevada, Three Square Food Bank in North Las Vegas.

What role do culture and the arts play in your life? Maybe you’re part of one of those non-profits already: do you see how it works to help youth and adults explore their creative side?
