Singer and songwriter Rodriguez gets a second chance and is joining music legend Brian Wilson on stage.

In the music industry, there aren't many second acts.

But the singer-songwriter Rodriguez defied the odds.

More than 40 years after releasing two critically acclaimed albums, he's enjoyed a newfound success after being the subject of an Academy Award-winning documentary.

And Friday, he's opening for Brian Wilson at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
