Another day, another list of education rankings that finds Nevada at the bottom.
According to data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, Nevada ranks last for students who complete their college degree in four years.
Less than nine percent of Nevada college students graduate in four years, compared to the state that fared best, Virginia, at 46 percent.
Nevada is also at the bottom of the list for students who complete college at all.
What accounts for Nevada’s dismal graduation rates and what can be done to improve?
