Three different arena plans are on the table for Las Vegas. One would be downtown, one would be at UNLV and a third would be located near the strip behind Mandalay Bay. The Nevada Legislature debated a bill that would create a special taxing district and put the Clark County Commission in charge of picking the best plan for a new arena.
