Autobiography of a Recovering Skinhead

If you look at Frank Meeink's resume today - author, speaker, founder of an outreach program for kids - you wouldn't suspect that he used to be a Neo-Nazi Skinhead. But that was Frank's life when he was 13. Within a few years, he was beating homeless men, and hosting a Neo-Nazi TV show called "The Reich." But then he kidnapped a man and brutally beat him on tape - and that landed him in jail. And it was in prison that Frank started making friends of different colors. He became a father, and he said he realized he could never go back to his old life. Frank Meeink talks about how he went from being the youngest Neo-Nazi recruiter to speaking out against the very system he once idolized. Join us for a special look into the life of one "Recovering Skinhead."

Frank Meeink will be speaking Wednesday, May 26 at Barnes and Noble in Henderson at 7 p.m.
