Colorado River Water

Water supply from the Colorado River will be safe at least until 2026 with a very small chance that increased demand will drain Lakes Mead and Powell. That's according to a new study from researchers at the University of Colorado. The study contrasts with a report from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography last year that says Lake Mead could dry up by 2021. We talk with lead researcher Balaji Rajagopalan, Associate Professor and fellow at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
