The Exit Spring Mountain team at Nevada Public Radio is deeply saddened by the deadly mass shootings in Monterey Park and Half Moon Bay, California. Our hearts are with the victims and their families. We do not yet know the exact motives for the violence. We continue to look into our past and examine the present to try to make a stronger, safer, and more equitable future for the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities here in Nevada and beyond.
