RTC Chooses Rapid Bus Transit Over Light Rail For Maryland Pkwy.

The Regional Transportation Commission officially chose rapid bus transit for the future of transportation along Maryland Parkway.

RTC voted for rapid bus transit over light rail and an enhanced route 109 bus service.

Funding for the $345 million project has yet to be identified.

Las Vegas Metro Police say the accident occurred about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on the Strip outside of the Bellagio near Flamingo Road.
