New Scholarship Encourages Students To Practice Medicine In Nevada

If you feel like it’s difficult to find a physician in Nevada, you’re not alone. The Silver State continues to face a physician shortage.

According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, Nevada ranks 45th in the U.S. for active physicians and 48th for primary care physicians. 

But a new scholarship offered by Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno aims to help close that gap.
