If you feel like it’s difficult to find a physician in Nevada, you’re not alone. The Silver State continues to face a physician shortage.

According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, Nevada ranks 45th in the U.S. for active physicians and 48th for primary care physicians.

But a new scholarship offered by Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno aims to help close that gap.

You won’t find a paywall here. Come as often as you like — we’re not counting. You’ve found a like-minded tribe that cherishes what a free press stands for. If you can spend another couple of minutes making a pledge of as little as $5, you’ll feel like a superhero defending democracy for less than the cost of a month of Netflix.
