US Rep. Dina Titus Applauds Federal Relief Funding In Nevada

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Dina Titus is optimistic that Nevada is on the path toward economic recovery.

The Las Vegas Democrat addressed the state Legislature on Monday and told lawmakers about her work to funnel federal coronavirus relief dollars to Nevada.

Titus said work to calculate state allocations based on unemployment rates rather than solely on population would benefit Nevada, where the tourism-driven economy was battered by the pandemic.
