LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Nevada Republican Party and Republican National Committee are suing Clark County officials for public records related to the June primary election.
The GOP asked a court to force the county to turn over any records related to the county's decision to open more in-person polling places and to mail absentee ballots to inactive voters.
Republicans contend county commissioners should have held a public meeting to discuss the decision and are seeking related records. They say in their lawsuit that they were provided some records but they believe more exist and should be turned over.
