Las Vegas Man Accused Of Plotting Attacks Pleads Not Guilty

A Las Vegas man accused of plotting attacks against synagogues and other targets pleaded not guilty to a federal weapons charge in District Court Wednesday.

Conor Climo is accused of plotting to attack a Las Vegas synagogue, a local Anti-Defamation League office and a downtown bar that Climo believed welcomed the LGBTQ community.

The weapons indictment was issued last week.

The FBI reported finding hand-drawn schematics and component-parts of a destructive device at Climo’s home in August, including flammable liquids, oxidizing agents and circuit boards.

Agents also confiscated an AR-15 assault-style weapon and a bolt-action rifle.

Prosecutors allege that Climo had been communicating with members of a white supremacist group about the proposed attacks.

His trial is set for November.
