UNR Announces Proposal For Interim Student Housing After Argenta Hall Explosion

The University of Nevada Reno is in talks with Eldorado Resorts about housing students displaced by the explosion that damaged Argenta and Nye residence halls earlier this month.

The school said in a statement University Residential Life and Housing will move into the West Tower of Circus Circus Reno under the proposed deal.

The recently renovated, non-gaming tower would be dubbed Wolf Pack Tower and be outfitted with university security measures.

UNR President Marc Johnson said the university intends to “seamlessly integrate Wolf Pack Tower into the University’s housing experience.”
