A settlement hearing is scheduled today for victims of the Little Valley Fire in the Washoe Valley, north of Carson City.
It’s been two and a half years since embers from a Nevada Division of Forestry prescribed burn triggered the wildfire which destroyed 23 homes.
The agency was found guilty of gross negligence by a Washoe County jury last August.
The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, and the hearing today will put the settlement terms on record.
