Former LVCVA Executive Arrested In Airline Gift Card Investigation

Las Vegas police arrested a former executive of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority as they continue their investigation into the misuse of airline gift cards by the agency.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Brig Lawson was taken into custody on a felony theft charge Wednesday night.

Lawson was the authority’s former director of business partnerships.

Lawson was forced to resign from the authority in May. Detectives also seized emails and other electronic records related to the gift cards dating back seven years.
