Guard Accused Of Killing Las Vegas-Area Bus Passenger With Shove

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A former contract security officer is facing a murder charge after police say he berated an 82-year-old transit bus passenger about the man's walker in an aisle and fatally injured the man shoving him out the bus door in November.

Records showed that 41-year-old Anthony Villanueva was being held Thursday at the Clark County jail in Las Vegas following his arrest Saturday in the death of Charles Adams.

Police say Adams died Dec. 21 of injuries including facial fractures that a doctor blamed on his face-forward fall early Nov. 14 in North Las Vegas.

North Las Vegas police say video shows Villanueva challenging Adams to fight and Adams waving a belt at Villanueva before the guard grabs the elderly man from his seat and pushes him onto a sidewalk.
