Governor Brian Sandoval issued a statement commending President Donald Trump for his efforts to stop opioid abuse.
The president has tried to reduce drug supply and demand in the country, and in a statement issued a Monday, Sandoval said the president’s efforts compliment Nevada’s own efforts to combat prescription drug abuse.
Sandoval went on to say it will help Nevada provide the resources to “combat this disease in our communities.”
