The UNR Wolfpack was one of two teams from the Mountain West Conference to make the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. The Wolfpack is seeded 7 th in the South Region, and they play Texas in Nashville on Friday.
If they win, their next opponent will likely be second-seeded Cincinnati.
San Diego State was the other team selected to be part of March Madness. They will play Houston on Thursday.

Despite an overall record of 20 wins and 13 losses this season, the UNLV men’s basketball team did not get selected by either the NCAA or NIT tournaments. Utah and BYU both received NIT invitations.
