CDC Report: Fewer Nevada Teens Are Having Sex While In High School

According to new federal data, fewer teenagers in Nevada are choosing to have sex in high school.

A report from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention surveys students in 29 states that participate in the national Youth Risk Behavior Survey.

It asks students to self-report a number of risky behaviors, including whether they’re engaging in sexual intercourse.

The report doesn’t identify a reason for the decline but suggests changes in technology and the use of social media could have something to do with it.
