Downtown Autonomous Shuttle Involved In Crash On First Day

An autonomous shuttle meant to ferry passengers around downtown Las Vegas began service Wednesday, with something of a troublesome start.

It was involved in a crash near 7th and Fremont Streets around noon Wednesday.

No injuries were reported, and no word yet on the damage to the shuttle.

Regional Transportation Commission's Tina Quigley tells KNPR someone drove into the shuttle, and not the other way around.
