CCSD Superintendent Says School Board Member Under Investigation

Clark County School District Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky has revealed that school board member Kevin Child is the subject of a government investigation.

The investigation centers around Child’s behavior on a school campus, which prompted the Superintendent to ban Child from district property last month.

Skorkosky explained in a letter to the district that he has received several complaints about Child, ranging from comments that embarrassed students and threatening jobs of staff members who have complained about him.

He would not name the outside government agency that is investigating Child’s conduct.

Child has claimed that Skorkowsky’s action is merely retaliation for being an outspoken critic of district transparency.
