The 24-year-old Mandalay Bay security guard who first encountered gunman Stephen Paddock on October 1 did an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that will air on her show Wednesday.
The whereabouts of Jesus Campos has been a mystery for the past couple of days after he didn't show up for several television interviews last week.
Campos found Paddock on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay on Oct. 1. Paddock turned his gun on Campos, shooting him in the leg.

Campos and building engineer Stephen Schuck who was also in the hallway recorded an interview with DeGeneres.
In a statement from MGM, the company suggested Campos wanted to tell his story at a time and place of his choosing.
